FANTASTIC MR. FOX
I have a lot of respect for the painstaking task of stop motion animation. It involves the intensive manipulation of three dimensional objects frame by frame- definitely considered a good day’s work! This movie came out earlier in LA and I had the chance to view it last night. Stop animation is the cherry on top for this project because it’s a Wes Anderson piece of cool-ness! I have not seen one movie that I did not like from this guy. The quirky, flawed nature of his characters coupled with his simple personal style to movie making to present chaotic situations and turbulent familial narratives is hands down one of the most appealing pieces of entertainment out there! It is hard for Wonderful Wes to disappoint. Watching anything by Anderson is like watching a good time reminiscent of Woody Allen, a warped Disney movie, and a gentrified neighborhood combined. For those who are new to his wonderful world, IMDB Wes Anderson and take it from there, you will not be disappointed.
